Osteopathy for babies

Few births are truly easy so parents are keen to ensure the new baby is doing well in the early weeks and months of life. Babies have many changes to deal with in terms of settling into life outside the womb and feeding, so osteopathy can often help. I love treating babies and it is a privilege to be asked to do so and see new families get off to a good start.

I give a gentle but thorough review of your baby’s well-being. The usual problems that new parents bring babies to see me for are around:

  • Persistent crying

  • Digestive issues

  • Inability to relax

  • Sleep issues

However, the range of presentations is diverse.

Cranial osteopathy is very safe, gentle and non manipulative, I aim to help your baby's body make its own changes in response to treatment.

Please note that babies may sometimes be a little unsettled for up to 24 hours after treatment.

A typical treatment plan is 2-4 appointments.
