Hello, I’m Julia Finlay
I am an Osteopath specialising in Cranial Osteopathy. I run my practice from my home clinic in leafy West Norwood. In my spare time you’ll find me out and about playing tennis, swimming or practising yoga.
I work with people of all ages, babies to nineties including pregnancy and post partum. My osteopathic journey began with my 2 children, now out in the working world…

As an Osteopath I am recognised as an Allied Health Professional. Osteopaths have trusted status as healthcare practitioners who work in partnership with the NHS.
Working in Osteopathy
My 19 years in osteopathy so far have included NHS work at a GP practice, children with learning difficulties and special needs in both India and the UK, extensive undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and running my own practice since 2012.
Teaching Osteopathy
I have enjoyed teaching Cranial and paediatric osteopathy to undergraduate students at the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in Maidstone and the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hampstead and internationally. through the ESO’s international programmes. I have just completed my second paediatric diploma in 2025, teaching postgraduate students through the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy. My role at the Osteopathic Centre for Children is a clinical and teaching role.

Continuous Professional Development
As an Osteopath I observe the General Osteopathic Council's requirements for Continuous Professional Development. The requirements include 90 hours learning every three years, including 45 hours of learning with others, in each of the four areas of Osteopathic Practice Standards -
